War Graves of the Commonwealth

The history of and a description of the stirling work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission can be found in many places both on and off the internet, so I'm not going to attempt to describe it here. Instead, I've presented a photo-gallery of a selection of the numerous and varied graves of the servicemen of the two world wars. This page contains a selection of the headstones of "unknown" servicemen

The next page is a gallery of some of the graves of non-commonwealth soldiers that are tended by the CWGC.
