Trenchmap suppliers

I am regularly being asked where trenchmaps can be obtained from and whether or not I sell them, or copies of them, myself (for the record - I don't!***). For this reason, I'm listing here a variety of places where copies (either hard copies or in digital format) and originals (if you are lucky) can be obtained...

***update*** -  OK, I've now succumbed to demand and released a CD-ROM of French Trench maps (see the "sales" page on this website for details). Also, there are - now available - 'area specific' trench-map CD-ROMS for the Somme , Arras and Ypres which contain a selection of French, British, German and Belgian trench maps. Future releases will be a similar  CD's covering the Yser Front, Champagne, the Hindenburg Line and (possibly) Verdun. We will also supply "tailor made" trench map CD's (whereby we'll supply a CD containing maps specific to a customer's requirements) upon demand in the next few months.....  for further details and orders, please click  HERE (for the French map CD) or HERE , HERE and HERE for the Somme,  Ypres and Arras CDs........  NEW DISCS JUST OUT!!! ...  Rear Areas Maps ... 'Other Theatres' Maps ...HINDENBURG LINE maps

Also on offer is a CD multi-pack gift set containing all those pictured above. Entitled 'Trenchmaps of the Western Front', it is available from HERE

WFA's "Mapping the Front" - Digitally scanned trenchmaps (regional) on CD-ROM

Greatwardigital - "Linesman" - revolutionary new product

G.H. Smith & Son - 70% scale high quality copies at very reasonable prices

The Naval & Military Press - trench map CD-ROMs ( Not compatible with Windows Vista). A new DVD product is also now available (Vista compatable).

Turner Donovan Military Books - Original items

eBay - Maps can often be found on this (and other) internet auction sites, but they are popular and can sometimes demand ridiculously high prices when they become the subject of "bidding wars". Beware of copies , high priced poor examples and misleading descriptions of maps on here though (though some real gems are sometimes to be found also)

Original items can also be viewed (and ,occasionally, copies obtained) from a variety of other sources such as the Imperial War Museum and The National Archives. Many regimental museums also hold some copies in their archives.
