Forthcoming local events of interest

November 2008:   Towneley Hall museum in Burnley is staging an exhibition in November called 90 Stories Revisited. The exhibition is a follow on from 2004 when 90 stories of local people from the Great War were shown. In 2004, this was done from the museum collections. This year, the museum is inviting people from outside the museum to contribute. If you have a descendant from Burnley (including women) who served at home or in a battle zone and think their story merits inclusion then please contact Mike Townend, Keeper of History, Towneley Hall Museum, Burnley BB113RQ (01282 424213) mtownend@burnley.gov.uk
